Emily grew up in Tampa, Florida but has recently moved to the Greenville area. With its more distinctive seasons, boiled peanuts, and charming southerners, she has fallen in love with the upstate of South Carolina. Although she has an extensive background in math and science, Emily received a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art at the University of South Florida and a master’s degree in Interior Design at Florida State University. She enjoys working with all interior design styles and has an affinity for incorporating whimsical and surprising elements. A “Jill of all trades,” Emily loves woodworking, sewing, painting, and felting. Her new line at C. Taylor Interiors, Emily’s Pantry, features home decorations with food themes. In her free time, she loves to play the piano, root on the USF Bulls and Clemson Tigers, and travel, finding design inspiration in architectural details and other cultural influences.
